Hedgie’s Huddle is an English Kids Club in the heart of Vicenza, created for children and families looking for something more than an activity or an English class.

Here, English is part of everyday life. Children hear it, use it, and become comfortable with it naturally while playing, creating, moving, exploring stories, and spending time together.

But there is something even more important at the heart of Hedgie’s.

The Huddle

A huddle is a little circle. A place where we come together. Where friendships begin, families meet, ideas are shared, and every child has the space to be exactly who they are.

Over time, that circle becomes something familiar.

A place children recognize. A place parents trust. A place friendships grow.

A little place that starts to feel like home.

That is Hedgie’s Huddle.

A Different Way to Experience English

At Hedgie’s, children are not expected to sit at a desk and “study” English.

They experience it.

English lives inside a story, a song, a game, a conversation, a messy experiment, an art project, or an afternoon spent imagining a completely new world with friends.

Our activities are designed around play, exploration, creativity, and social connection, giving children meaningful reasons to listen, communicate, and express themselves.

Because language becomes much more natural when it belongs to an experience.

Mommy & Me · 12–36 months

Gentle mornings of movement, sensory exploration, creativity, shared discovery, and connection for little ones and their grown-ups.

Afternoon Program · Ages 3–6

Story-led afternoons filled with English, imaginative play, movement, sensory experiences, art, and friendship.

Huddle Experiences

Pajama Parties, creative workshops, guest experiences, seasonal events — and soon, a new way to celebrate birthdays at Hedgie’s.

Holiday Camps

Longer Hedgie’s days during school breaks, giving children more time to explore, create, play, build friendships, and become part of the Huddle.

Coming soon! A cozy, welcoming space where babies, toddlers, and children can enjoy free, unstructured play while their grown-ups connect, meet other families, and become part of our growing Huddle. We’re planning two morning sessions and two afternoon sessions each week.

Non è la classica scuola con il classico corso per bambini, Hedgie’s Huddle è qualcosa che ti rimane nel cuore, dove si vivono i momenti, le condivisioni e lo studio. My 3-year-old son had been with me full-time until we decided to try the summer camp program, and I was very hesitant at first to let him go anywhere on his own. From our very first meeting, Caitlyn (“Ms. Kate”) made us feel completely at ease. She patiently explained her background, education, and experience, and shared her thoughtful philosophy of learning through play.
Both Ms. Kate and her assistant, Maddie, are incredibly warm, professional, and genuinely devoted to the children’s happiness and development. They created such a safe and welcoming environment that my son would wake up on weekends excited to go to “school”!
I noticed tremendous growth in my son in such a short period of time. He began showing more independence by putting his belongings in his cubby hole as soon as he arrived, engaging more confidently with other children, and even speaking much more clearly and expressively at home. It was incredible to see how the environment Ms. Kate and Ms. Maddie created encouraged him to flourish socially, emotionally, and academically.
One of the things I valued most was the direct and open communication. Ms. Kate would send pictures and updates throughout the day, showing the creative activities and joyful moments the kids were experiencing. It gave me so much peace of mind as a parent.
We feel so happy and incredibly lucky to have found such a wonderful place for our son to learn, grow, and be cared for so lovingly.

My daughter struggles with anxiety, and Katelyn made a customized plan to help her ease in to staying without me. Katelyn made her feel safe and my child was able to stay by herself and enjoy it.

Katelyn is an expert in child development and she’s very attuned to children’s needs. She provides engaging options for children while also giving them the autonomy to choose what they want to play with.

She was very communicative with me as a parent, sending pictures and sharing reflections with me about her behavior and how to best support her. At the end of our session, she set up a phone call with me to discuss how my daughter had progressed and to give her professional advice on her development.

Finally, the community of parents who bring their children there is a nice bonus! I met several parents who I connected with, and the group for young kids and parents especially allows parents to make friends as well.

Drop off in the morning was around 8-8:30am where she was greeted warmly with Kate & an entrance activity set up. She offered lunch from a local cafe, or kids could bring their own. Pick up was by 4pm & she was spent! She played hard! Kate provides a warm, educational & joyful environment for them to mix opportunities to create, play outside, meet new friends & calm their bodies. Katelyn created such a beautiful and thoughtful space for all children (Italian or not) in the heart of Vicenza. She is so naturally talented with children. Una delle cose che ho apprezzato di più è la dimensione ridotta dei gruppi, che permette un'attenzione individualizzata da parte degli adulti. Questo ha consentito a mia figlia di interagire con gli altri bambini in un ambiente non troppo sovrastimolante, favorendo una socializzazione serena e naturale.
Lo spazio del daycare è meravigliosamente organizzato con attività pensate per incoraggiare gli interessi dei bambini. Questo ha motivato mia figlia a partecipare attivamente e ad imparare con entusiasmo.
Ottima opportunità per imparare la lingua inglese giocando. ( Katelyn capisce e parla anche l’italiano!)

Oltre che essere preparata è super competente, ma anche appassionata e capace di coinvolgere davvero i miei figli che non solo stanno migliorando nell’ inglese ma stanno anche sviluppando competenze sociali e interculturali importanti. Vedo che stanno crescendo con una mentalità aperta e una maggiore consapevolezza del mondo che li circonda e poi ogni giorno c'è qualcosa di nuovo e interessante da fare, e questo aiuta molto a mantenere alta la motivazione e l'entusiasmo dei ragazzi.
