At our center, inspired by the spirit of Hedgie, our cherished mascot, we believe in nurturing the magic of childhood. This class offers a warm, inclusive environment where children are encouraged to learn, grow, and explore, all while building strong social bonds. Parents or delegated adults are invited to join in this shared learning experience, ensuring that your child receives the support they need during this crucial stage of their development.

Program Philosophy

In our program, we draw inspiration from Hedgie, who teaches us the importance of adaptability, curiosity, friendship, and playfulness. We embrace these values to create a nurturing environment where children can thrive. Each day in our program is filled with opportunities for exploration and discovery, guided by experienced professionals who understand the nuances of child development.

Our Group Facilitator

At Hedgie’s Huddle Daycare, your child is in the capable hands of our experienced occupational therapist, who has over 10 years of expertise in child development. With a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy and specialized training in DIR/Floortime and Sensory Integration, our provider is dedicated to supporting each child’s unique journey. Her approach focuses on fostering positive attachments and emotional regulation, laying the groundwork for a bright and fulfilling future.

Katelyn Smith

Our Childcare Provider has a decade of experience working with children in various capacities, including school-based pre-K programs for children with diverse abilities and individualized programs tailored to each child’s unique needs. With a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy and specialized training in DIR/Floortime and Sensory Integration, she is equipped to support children in unlocking their full potential and thriving in a shared group experience.
