18 – 36 Months

Welcome to our Mommy-and-Me Program!
We offer two nurturing experiences for children aged 18–36 months:

1. Connected Beings (morning) and
2. Little Social Butterflies (afternoon).
In our warm, small-group setting, parents and toddlers learn, connect, and grow together through play. Alongside supporting your child’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development, we provide intentional parent guidance and support. We offer practical insights and strategies to help you feel confident in your parenting journey.

Program Philosophy

At Hedgie’s Huddle, we believe early learning begins with relationships.

The Mommy & Me program is designed to nurture parent-child bonding, encourage peer interaction, and provide parents with valuable tools to support development at home.

Each session blends structure with flexibility, ensuring toddlers feel safe while exploring new skills through play and shared experiences.

Program Leadership

The program is led by our experienced pediatric occupational therapist, who brings over a decade of expertise in child development. With training in DIR/Floortime and Sensory Integration, she ensures every activity is adapted to toddlers’ unique needs, while also guiding parents in understanding developmental milestones and relational techniques.

Her focus on social-emotional growth, language skills, and motor development makes each session a meaningful experience for both children and caregivers.

Katelyn Smith

Our Childcare Provider has a decade of experience working with children in various capacities, including school-based pre-K programs for children with diverse abilities and individualized programs tailored to each child’s unique needs. With a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy and specialized training in DIR/Floortime and Sensory Integration, she is equipped to support children in unlocking their full potential and thriving in a shared group experience.

Orientation & Schedule

Parent Orientation

Before starting, parents attend either one of two orientation meetings (without children). These sessions introduce the philosophy and structure of the program, showing how environment, routine, and interaction play essential roles in toddler development. They also offer an opportunity for parents to connect with one another before the groups begin.

  • Monday, March 23 | 10:00 – 12:00
